1-Minute Peanut Butter Chocolate Mug Cake

I made this cake for me. I usually do not care for cake but today was different. My daughter was home from college over the weekend. We had a great time together and the weekend just flew by. She returned to school yesterday and I miss her all over again. And so I made this cake for me. I wanted something moist and tasty. I experimented with different ingredients on paper and finally decided on this recipe.

The resultant cake turned out very moist and delicious. If you like peanut butter and chocolate you will love this cake. It is not very sweet. The primary flavor is peanut butter with a hint of chocolate.

I mixed the batter according to my planned recipe but I thought the consistency was not runny enough. It needed a little more liquid so I added a little more milk. The cake did not rise a lot but turned out to be really moist. If you are looking for a quick treat try this cake.

You will need
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/8 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. + 1/2 tsp. milk
3 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. peanut butter

Add all the dry ingredients and then the wet ingredients. Finally add the peanut butter and combine. Cook in a microwave for 1 minute. The cake should be done. If you think it needs to cook more give it another 15 seconds, no more.
